Entrance Scholarships

The below scholarships are for students who are applying for their first semester at Fleming College Toronto. Students applying for scholarships are only eligible for one scholarship per semester.

  • The Americas Scholarship

    Amount

    $3,000 (one-year program)

    $6,000 (two-year program)

    Eligibility

    International students who are citizens of Latin America, Caribbean and Brazil and have been admitted to a Fleming College Toronto academic program. 

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1,500 per semester to be awarded for all program applicable semesters. This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.

     

  • Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Scholarship

    Amount

    $3,000 (one-year program)

    $6,000 (two-year program)

    Eligibility

    International students who are residents of an approved CIS country (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan) and have been admitted to a Fleming College Toronto academic program.

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1,500 per semester to be awarded for all program applicable semesters. This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.

     

  • Europe, the Middle East, and Africa Scholarship

    Amount

    $3,000 (one-year program)

    $6,000 (two-year program)

    Eligibility

    International students who are citizens of any nation in Turkey, Europe, Africa, or the Middle East, and have been admitted to a Fleming College Toronto academic program.

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1,500 per semester to be awarded for all program applicable semesters.  This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.

  • East and Southeast Asia Scholarship

    Amount

    $3,000 (one-year program)

    $6,000 (two-year program)

    Eligibility

    International students who are citizens of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, North & South Korea, Japan and have been admitted to a Fleming College Toronto academic program.

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1,500 per semester to be awarded for all program applicable semesters.  This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.

  • Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan Scholarship

    Amount

    $2,000 (one-year program)

    $4,000 (two-year program)

    Eligibility

    International students who are citizens of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan, and have been admitted to a Fleming College Toronto academic program.

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1,000 per semester to be awarded for all program applicable semesters.  This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.

  • GUS Canada Colleges Pathway Scholarship

    Amount

    Up to $3,000

    Eligibility

    International students who did not attend an English-based education system and have applied to the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Toronto School of Management (TSoM) or University Pathway Program (UPP) at The Language Gallery Canada (TLGC) and fulfil the following requirements:

    1. Successfully completed an online or in-person EAP/UPP prior to the start date of a program at FCT.
    2. Included their EAP/UPP certificate and transcripts with their FCT application prior to the program start date.
    3. Completed the first term at FCT and enrolled in the second term.

    Notes

    A scholarship equivalent to the amount of tuition paid for the EAP/UPP program completed at TSoM or TLGC (up to $3,000) will be awarded and applied toward the second term tuition of a FCT program.

    The scholarship cannot be transferred or combined with any other offer or scholarship.

  • Second Language Excellence Scholarship

    Amount

    $2,000

    Eligibility

    Successful applicants must have minimum IELTS overall score of 7.0 and no individual bands less than 6.5. Students who have not taken an IELTS test may provide alternative methods of meeting the English language proficiency requirements for this scholarship.

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1,000 to be awarded in the first semester, with an additional $1,000 to be awarded in the second semester, if the student maintains an 85 percent average. Applicable for 2023 & 2024 semester intakes only. This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.

  • FCT Alumni Scholarship

    Amount

    $2,000

    Eligibility

    International students who are applying to their second program of study at Fleming College Toronto.

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1000 to be awarded in the first semester, with an additional $1000 in the second semester if the student maintains an 85 percent average. This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.

     

  • GUS Canada Colleges (TSoM, CCTB, Trebas) Alumni Scholarship

    Amount

    $3,000

    Eligibility

    International students who are in their final term of a diploma or advanced diploma program at TSoM / CCTB / Trebas and are accepted into a Fleming College Toronto program.

    Notes

    A scholarship of $1,500 to be awarded in the first semester, with an additional $1,500 in the second semester, if the student maintains an 80% average. This scholarship is applicable for 2024 semester intakes.

    Students are required to upload their graduation Diploma or enrollment letter from any of the GUS Canada Colleges.
    This cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship. 

Bursary

Academic Excellence Bursary

Amount:

$1,000

Eligibility:

Fleming College Toronto students who have successfully completed the Spring 2024 semester with a minimum GPA of 90% will be eligible for a $1,000 CAD bursary, applicable to their following semester (Fall 2024).

No application is required.

Criteria:

  • Applicable only to students who are currently enrolled in their first or second semester at Fleming College Toronto.
  • Students graduating in the Spring 2024 semester are ineligible for this bursary. No exceptions will be made.
  • This bursary cannot be transferred or combined with any other entrance scholarship.
