Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) Letter

A Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) letter is a document issued once per semester to all students enrolled at FCT. It may be requested for a number of reasons, such as applying to extend a study permit or co-op work permit, opening a Canadian bank account, or visa sponsorship for a family member.

All enrolled FCT students will have access to their Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) letter approximately 3-4 weeks after Day 10 of the semester has passed.

Letter of Completion (LOC)

A Letter of Completion (LOC) is an official document verifying that you have successfully completed all academic requirements of your program of study. LOCs are issued directly by the home campus to all graduates, approximately 4-6 weeks after the release of final grades for the semester. Please refer to the Important Dates and Deadlines page to learn more about the grade release schedule.

Students will be notified by the Student Retention and Records department on the steps to retrieve their LOC.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

You can find your tuition fee payment deadline on the Important Dates page.

Please note that it takes approximately seven to ten business days for FCT to receive your payment. We recommend that you complete your payment at least two (2) weeks before the deadline to avoid incurring any late fees or disruptions to your enrolment at Fleming College Toronto.

For returning students, tuition fees for the upcoming semester are due by the due date indicated on the important dates page. A late fee (penalty) of $150 CAD will be applied to your account if the semester fees are not received in full by the due date. Late payment fees are non-refundable.

If you are a returning student and are unable to make your payment by the required due date, please contact records@flemingcollegetoronto.ca.

You can make payments any time before the due date, and you may make multiple smaller payments or combine different payment methods in the CIBC ISP Portal; there is no minimum payment amount.

However, tuition fees for the upcoming semester must be received in full by the deadline indicated on the Important Dates page of the FCT Website.

Your payment will not be reflected on your student account right away; it takes approximately 7-10 business days for FCT to receive your payment. Once FCT receives your payment, you will receive a notification on your that your receipt is available.

If you are unsure if your payment has been submitted correctly, please send your proof of payment to records@flemingcollegetoronto.ca so we can verify if your payment is in progress.

If you are in your last semester at FCT and do not plan to take a second program after your graduation, you may contact intlfees@flemingcollegetoronto.ca to request a refund of credit amount.

You may submit your request any time after the 10th day of class in the last semester of current program.

The refund will take 60-90 days to process.

Please Note: Payments are made through the CIBC ISP Payment Portal, and payments will be refunded to the same account used at the time of payment.

FCT programs do not have scheduled breaks. There may be potential consequences on your study permit validity and future post-graduation work permit (PGWP) eligibility if you leave in the middle of your program without approval. Please refer to What counts as an authorized leave from your studies?

If you need to pause your studies for a semester due to an exceptional circumstance, please contact isa@flemingcollegetoronto.ca.
