Time: Visit anytime from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Meet our team and complete new student requirements such as:
- Taking your Student ID photo
- Getting your Social Insurance Number
- Submitting your Study Permit
- Getting a Canadian SIM card for your mobile device

New Student Orientation Week is designed to welcome and assist new students as they begin their journey at FCT. Yes, it is mandatory for all new students to be in attendance for orientation. Participating in Orientation Week greatly benefits new students by providing essential information and connections to ease the transition to college life.
No. Please check your email to ensure you registered for the correct session corresponding to your program, as each program has different timings.
We recommend bringing essential items and any required paperwork, such as your identification and study permit. It is also encouraged that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
Yes. Student Services will take your photo during orientation week, and you will be issued an FCT Student ID card within 5-7 business days.
Yes. Campus tours are a standard part of New Student Orientation Week. These tours allow new students to familiarize themselves with the campus layout, classrooms, and important locations such as the library and front desk. The tours will take place on August 28th & 29th at Fleming College Toronto (124 Eglinton Avenue West). Check your email for further information.
The venue is easily accessible by car or public transportation, such as Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and Go-Transit. If you are using public transport, exit the train at Union Station and proceed to the venue (an estimated 8-minute walk) by following the signs to Bay St. and the map below.
