Calm Places to Study Near Eglinton Campus

Fleming College Toronto’s Eglinton campus has some great study spots, but sometimes you want to work on assignments or prepare for exams in a new environment. So, here are three great study spaces where you can be at your most productive.

How to choose a perfect study location

When choosing places to study, consider the following factors: comfort, minimal distractions, good lighting, a quiet atmosphere, access to necessary resources, and a space that suits your learning style.

Toronto Public Libraries

Two midtown branches offer silence and seclusion for all your study needs. 6 minutes North of Eglinton campus, the multi-floor Northern District Branch has excellent dedicated study areas with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. West of the Eglinton Campus, the Forest Hill Branch at 700 Eglinton has high windows and large tables with charging stations for laptops.

The Village Hive Eglinton - Coworking & Meeting Space

With 24-hour access, a kitchen, meeting rooms, workspace, and access to printing services, this space has everything you need to finish assignments, study for exams, or prepare job applications. Individual visits are $23. For more information, see their website.

Nearby Cafes

As mentioned in our previous post, Midtown Toronto is full of great cafes for studying. You can find cozy study spaces and delicious snacks and beverages at Isle of Coffee and Saporito Caffe Italiano. The area has numerous Starbucks, but the best places to study are at 39 Eglinton, 2630 Yonge, and 694 Mt Pleasant Road.
