Explore Midtown Toronto: Walkable Streets Near Fleming College Toronto’s Campus

If you are looking to shop or stroll, Midtown Toronto has some of Toronto’s most walkable streets, full of trendy shops, eateries, cafes, and parks. Be sure to check out the following locations.

Eglinton Ave West

The stretch from Yonge Street to Chaplain Crescent has numerous restaurants and cafes, not to mention Eglinton Park and Fleming College Toronto’s campus. One favourite here not mentioned in other posts is Phipps Bakery & Dessert Shop. Many locals favour the caramel pecan butter tarts.

Eglinton Ave East

Between Yonge Street and Mt Pleasant Road, you will find 6 blocks of restaurants, cafes, pubs, and markets. One block alone contains a boardgame café, an English pub, bubble tea, Mexican food, Indian food, and sushi.

Yonge Street

Yonge Street is not only one of the most famous in Toronto, but one of the longest. The portion close to Fleming College Toronto’s campus has every kind of ethnic food you could ask for. If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk along the street all the way to downtown Toronto.

Mt Pleasant Road

A hidden gem for locals of the midtown area, Mt Pleasant Road has many delicious options for Italian such as Piano Piano Restaurant and Positano. There’s also Japanese food, gelato, and several locally owned shops.
