FCT provides support for Türkiye and Syria

On February 6, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck parts of Türkiye and Syria, affecting an estimated 24 million people. As of now, more than 2.4 million are displaced, with the death toll at 41,000, and at least 115,000 injured.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those that have been affected.

FCT believes in giving back and supporting the community, and in times like these, we need to be there for one another more than ever. A collection station is now open for cash donations at the front desk on the 4th floor of our campus.

Students and faculty will be able to donate cash for relief in Türkiye and Syria, with GUS Canada matching the funds FCT collects. We will be presenting our donation to the Canadian Red Cross.
