Masking in Ontario, guidelines as of November 14th, 2022

As cases of illness from respiratory illness (COVID-19, flu, RSV) continue to rise and put strain on Ontario hospitals, Ontario Chief Medical Officer, Kieran Moore, announced today his ‘strong recommendation’ that all individuals in the province wear masks for all indoor settings. Though masking has not been mandated by the government, Dr. Moore noted that if strain on hospitals does not subside, a return to mandatory masking policies is a strong possibility.

Dr. Moore also recommended people in Ontario receive their COVID boosters and flu shots as a further protection from the current spread of virus. For more information on how to acquire your flu shot, please see: https://www.ontario.ca/page/flu-shot-clinics

Fleming College Toronto continues to follow public health guidelines and update protocols as needed.
