Find Your Next Job at a Toronto Career Fair Near You

In large halls or convention centres, employers set up tables and booths where they display hiring opportunities and helpful information about their companies. Job seekers chat with potential employers and meet other professionals on the same career path.

This is called a career fair. If you’re looking to do some networking, learn about the labour market, and even find your next job, a career fair is a great option.

How to Find Jobs in Toronto

In addition to career fairs, check out this list of online job boards and networking sites to increase your chances of getting hired in Toronto:

  • Job Bank – Government of Canada’s job bank for Toronto
  • Indeed – Online job board with a range of work and volunteer positions to apply for
  • LinkedIn – Networking site with a job board
  • Eventbrite – Site for finding events, including networking events, job fairs and other activities

What’s the difference between a career fair and a job fair?

A career fair usually caters to a single career path or area of expertise, while a job fair may be more general.

For example, the Supply Chain Career Fair is great for students who are studying Supply Chain Management – Global Logistics, but not for students looking for a part-time job. These students might be better off attending a more general job fair.
